Welcome to Straight Fin Farms — a 34-acre private waterfront retreat just 8 minutes from downtown Bobcaygeon and 1.5 hours from Toronto. The farmhouse sleeps 16+ guests across 7 uniquely designed bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, with a full kitchen, spacious living areas, and wraparound outdoor spaces.

The property includes 500 feet of private waterfront with kayaks and a pedal boat, an outdoor hot tub, fireplace, BBQ, forest trails, a developing permaculture farm with gardens, orchards, beehives, and mushroom cultivation areas. Cancellation Policy & Security Deposit

Cancellation Policy

Firm (Short-Term Stays) — Full refund if cancelled at least 30 days before check-in. Partial refund if cancelled 7–30 days before check-in.

Long-Term (30+ Days) — Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking and at least 28 days before check-in. After that, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable.

Security Deposit

A $500 refundable hold protects against accidental damages. Here's how it works:

1. At booking — You securely save your card on file via Stripe. No charge, no hold.

2. 1–2 days before arrival — Stripe places a $500 authorization hold on your saved card. This is not a charge; the funds are temporarily reserved (your bank may show it as "pending") but no money is transferred.

3. After checkout — A routine property inspection is performed. If everything is in order, the hold is released within 7 days (often within 24 hours). If damages or extra cleaning are needed, only the corresponding amount is captured from the hold and an itemized statement is sent.
